Heavenly Comfort

As we all know - comfortable shoes are not only preferable - they also encourage us to be on our feet more often. Preschoolians strives to make its shoes more comfortable than any other.

We make sure that all sensitive areas of the foot are touched by very soft materials backed with high density foam which will not wear down over time. We use this in our tongues and in our collars.

A child's foot perspires at twice the rate of an adult foot. As a matter of fact an adult foot produces about 4 ounces of sweat a day while a child produces 8 ounces per day. This is why we line our shoes with a material which is specially designed to "wick away" moisture. The material is called Dri Lex.

We make all of our shoes machine washable and machine dryable so that the "extra" perspiration caused by nature can be easily cared for. Of course our Kids Will Be Kids Leather also makes for nice clean shoes as well. It is designed so that the shoes can be washed with your normal clothing "loads". The Kids Will Be Kids Leather is also scuff resistant.

Cold water wash, dry normal setting. Do not wash with clothes that run or with denim. Leather will remain soft and shoes will not shrink. Do not use detergent and do not wash pink nubuck or red nubuck - the colorfastness of the red family is very difficult to control. We suggest you use a brush to get dirt off this color.

Walking gives the foot quite a pounding. The striking of the foot (and particularly the heel) against the ground with the weight of the body should be cushioned as much as possible. To provide superior shock absorbency all of our shoes have:

A removable, anatomically shaped "footbed" which will mold over time to the shape of your child's foot. The footbed is made from a soft material which will absorb the shock of walking and shield the foot from hard surfaces. We also cover the footbed with Dri Lex which will "wick" away moisture.

Our Heel Pillow. This is just as it sounds- thick high density foam which will not wear down over time in the heel of the shoe.
